Solid State Brake Contactor
The SSB is a specially engineered product for use on new Smart-Move™ drives that will save panel space, wiring and installation time by eliminating the need for an AC. brake contactor.  The small footprint of the Smart-Move™ is not compromised since the SSB mounts easily within the drive. Easy to attach and easy to wire.  The advantage of this option  is that no contactor for switching a "high" voltage AC brake is needed on a control panel -- single phase only.  The unit is available in both a 208-230 VAC
version (SSB1) and a Universal! Voltage version 208 through 460 VAC (SSB2). The option can be attached in the factory or in the field if required. For use on drives after April,1998.
