Who Are We? 
Starting from scratch in 1993 with not much more than several good supplier relationships, Piedmont Hoist & Crane has grown from a small service firm doing inspections and repairs to an organization of over 30 employees with 200 years of combined experience.  Currently, the needs of 400 plus customers in four states are served by this fully trained and equipped crew of technicians. 

As our business grows, Piedmont Hoist & Crane will continue its fine tradition of excellent service while building a reputation for outstanding new equipment sales based on product knowledge, expert installation and responsive follow-up support.  Today, all our customers benefit from the expertise and knowledge that is available from a sales staff that can call upon extensive experience in the overhead lifting industry. 

Where Are We? 
Piedmont Hoist & Crane is based in a modern and well-equipped manufacturing facility strategically located in Colfax, NC (metro Greensboro/Winston-Salem), a location that puts us in the center of North Carolina's Piedmont Triad and within a reasonable service distance of Southern Virginia and the rest of the Carolinas. 

What Do We Do? 
Piedmont Hoist & Crane is totally committed to overhead lifting equipment.  Every overhead product--from simple slings to the most complex crane system--is offered.  System design, structural analysis and layout integration is available as well as modifications and upgrades to existing installations.  Piedmont has built a reputation for competitively priced installations that are delivered on-schedule and perform as expected.  We continue our relationship with the customer through a thorough and detailed OSHA inspection program that assures our clients of compliance with all the industry regulations while meeting the preventative maintenance standards established by the equipment manufacturer.
